The purpose of our MARBLE SCULPTURE COURSES is to provide students with the technical skills, to the tradition of sculpture, and the knowledge of marble, as well as methodological tools that meet the need for artistic and professional growth during a stay of intense but enjoyable activity.
The courses are mainly held in summer, featuring a direct "teacher student" interpersonal relationship, in small groups of students. The teacher is always available to listen and discuss the expectations and desires of each student to help develop correctly their sculptural work.
The course is aimed at acquiring the skills in processing marble with the use of hand tools, and becoming familiar with marble
The Studio will provide the necessary tools.
The course is suitable for those who already have their own technical/artistic preparation or acquired it from us. The student may request a course with the use of pneumatic and/or electrical equipment, the possibility of using cutting machines with discs will be decided at the discretion of the teacher and his assessment of the level of competence of the students.
The Studio will provide hand tools, pneumatic hammers and electromechanical machines. Tools are excluded.
The course is recommended if the student already has a good knowledge of the material and basic tools.
2-week advanced course, reproduction technique of marble sculpture: reproduction techniques by points and enlargement technique by compasses.

5 days of intensive “5days” course (1st week) + 6 days of Rent Place, sculptural work with space and work equipment rental and accommodation formula (2nd week)
2-week marble sculpture technique course with the teacher Romhein Lutfi, co-founder of Arco Arte.
Course date: from 07/29/2024 to 08/09/2024
The courses are held from mid-April to mid-October and start on the Monday of the chosen week.

The arrival of the guest is scheduled on the Sunday before the beginning of the chosen course.
Teachers are present during the course: from 9 am to 12 pm, from 2 pm to 5 pm; on Saturdays from 9 am to 12 pm. The student can also work outside of the above hours, without the presence of the teacher (without the use of mechanical equipment). (Scheduled hours with mechanical equipment from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Saturday from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.).
The tools are provided by the Studio.
The Studio provides pneumatic and electromechanical hammers, electric machines and diamond discs. Tools are excluded.
Arco Arte is available to provide assistance in finding any tools or equipment on site.
The student can use his/her own tools, as long as they are considered appropriate.
*All equipment provided by the Studio is in accordance with current regulations.
*The equipment provided may not be transferred to third parties by the user.
*The user is always informed in advance of the correct use and maintenance of any equipment available and provided by the Studio.
The marble is made available by the Studio in sufficient quantity for practice. A range of regular or irregular-shaped marble blocks of max. +-50 kg is available Upon request, marble blocks of a precise size can be provided, with and additional fee previously agreed. The work carried out will remain the property of the student.

Arco Arte provides students with accomodation in private residences adjacent to the workplace . However, the guest is free to choose other accommodations than those of Arco Arte.

Even those who do not attend a sculpture course are welcomed to Arco Arte ! Even accompanying persons can stay at Arco Arte and maybe pass the time learning the art of Majolica or Ceramics at the Atelier La Goccia, located in the structure adjacent to Arco Arte.
The guest must independently take out
